T-minus SIX WEEKS to launch. I just can’t believe where time went. Editing has begun and I am still tweaking furiously together with my utterly amazing beta reader Meng. Book one was a world-opener, book two was a world-builder, and I really want to make book three a show-stopper.
As any indie author knows, it’s not over when the book is ready, in fact it all just gets even more frantic and that is exactly where I am at. To start, Path of a Novice will be FREE on March 20th, on Amazon, Kobo, BN and Apple, and following that, we have the cover reveal set for 27th March.

Another thing about the promo phase, is that authors become shameless, and I am no exception. So, if there is anything you think you can do on your blog, website or social media to help Dawn of a Legend off to the best start it can get, I can provide you with a media kit with information and graphics you can use as you see fit.
And if you don’t think there’s anything you can do, you’re probably wrong, because even if you hit the ‘like’ or ‘share’ buttons here, on Facebook or Twitter during the next few months, that always helps.
And if you yourself are an author, maybe you have discovered some wonderful places for promo, or perhaps you have some great ideas you think I could use. If you do, please leave a comment, I’d love to hear what you know, what you’ve done, what worked and what didn’t.
So back to tweaking and drinking coffee. I might even change out of my pyjamas and into some clothes – later – maybe.
I just looked up “Dawn of a Legend” thinking I could pre-purchase it. It was not listed. However there is already another book with that title and several with similar titles. Would it be a good idea to change the title?

There are no books with the exact title although there are similar ones. Dawn of Legend, Legend of the Dawn, etc. The addition of The Silvan Book III is actually a part of the title. So if you look at the romance book with the title Dawn of a Legend – that also has a sub-title.
To be honest, it usually is the case. If you look up Path of a Novice you’ll find a similar situation, and also for Road of a Warrior. So I am not concerned in any real sense.
It’s also too late to change it now! LOL
You can actually pre order on Kobo and Barnes and Noble, but of course, if you wanted to leave a review on Amazon, then the best thing would be to wait for it to launch there. I don’t do the pre-release on Amazon because of a technical issue revolving around how they compute rankings.
Making the first book free was a great hook. Especially since there are more books coming. I wont go into a speel about how awesome the books were. I finished them both in 1 day and have 0 regrets about these bloodshot eyes

Book one is free for a few more days then will go back to its normal price. I am planning on making it permafree when book 4 is out. So you’re ready for book three?
I am so hooked on this series that I bought #2 immediately upon finishing my free copy of #1 and went to pre-order #3 but sadly see that it isn’t available. Please tell us that there will be many more about this world.
